I've decided to rearrange some priorities in my life and that means that dirt bikes will be taking a back seat for now. I'm out of town for the next week or so but I'm looking at selling my '03 KTM 450 EXC and the 1975 Yamaha TY175 (I'm still riding the Stelvio ). Rather than having them sit and rot in my garage, I'd like to sell them and see them get used. I can always pick up another bike when the time comes.

The Yamaha TY175 is stock except for a 3-gallon plastic tank. It looks to be in excellent condition. I think it's jetted really rich but it has a fresh top end. I've ridden this bike around camp a few times since I bought it but other than that I haven't touched it. The tires on it are really old and cracked but I have a new pair of MT43s and HD tubes to go with it.

The KTM is tentatively sold. The TY175 is $850 as-is including the set of new tires and tubes.

Pickup in Colorado Springs.

Wish I had the funds for these. Perfect for my cruiser. Are they still around? May have a bit more money in a few weeks.

Bags are in really good shape, but could use a good cleaning and polishing. One of the lid stays (holds the lid up while it's open) needs reattached, and both of the taillights have been removed, but I have them.

Key and locks are all there and working.

Some mounting hardware included, but a bit of fabrication might be necessary - not sure.

Also - tossing in a wired fairing as well. Giant painted-on letters come at no extra expense.

This all came off an early full-size Honda, to give you an idea.

It's on CL for $250, but I'd do $200 for an inmate. Unless you think it's outrageous - then just make me an offer. My brother is headed over to the front range this weekend, and might be able to take these with him - otherwise I'm over in Paonia.

The KTM has unknown miles and hours; I put about a thousand miles on it since I bought it earlier this season and its been great. Big 6.6gal tank, Baja designs headlight, FMF Titanium4 full exhaust, Tubliss inserts installed on front and rear, KW stainless steel valves, high-capacity radiators. I have the stock 2ish gallon tank, too, but it's a bit beat up. It starts and runs well but the oil drain plug head is rounded (common with these RFS engines, I hear) so I've been changing the oil out the fill plug.

The KTM is $1500 as-is with any/all of the extra parts I might have laying around (the price will go up if and when I fix the drain plug).
Pickup in Colorado Springs.
PM sent on the KTM EXC.

Motoport Canyon Cordura - XL

$100
Canyon jacket up for sale, with zip-in quilted liner. Comes with removeable elbow/forearm, shoulder and back tri-armor. Sent it to Motoport to add the velcro arm tightener-thingies.
I'm 6'3, 200 lbs and the jacket fits pretty well. I'd guess that it would be almost ideal for someone a little bigger and less lanky than me.

No real venting on this, it's element is lousy weather. I wear it in the rain and snow and it's waterproof as far as I can tell. It's a burly jacket, I just don't wear it enough.

I'm in Denver and work near C470 and I-25.

Winter Project bike

SOLD

Due to some gremlins and serious dumbassery on my part, I now have a project bike to sell.

Non-running, 1996 KTM RXC 400

Known issues:

Choke control cable rusted in half.

When last running (about 2 weeks ago): will blow a bit of blue smoke after descending big hills (such as Magnolia Road, west of Boulder).

Preventing from running:
- Apparently no spark.
- A bit of wooden dowel in the cylinder.

See the original post for more details.

My stupidity is your opportunity. Looking for $600. First cash in my hand takes it.

Yeah - still got 'em. Taking up valuable shelf space in my garage!

I need to sell them, more so now more than ever. The ol' Honda needs a new exhaust setup. Poor gal.

Let me know when you're ready....
