Ahoy! Need scouts for CB/CL160 in NM or nearby

I hope this is allowed in Rockies. I got bitten hard by the racebike bug when I saw one of these CB160s run at the recent Sandia Classic here in Albuquerque:

So I would appreciate the collective keeping their eyes out for a donor bike for this worthy project/obsession. Any '65-69 CB160, CL160, CB175 or CL175, or parts thereto, wishfully w/in 500mi of ABQ. Finder's fee payable in brown foamy liquids. Thanks!

Cool2 Try Honda West

Honda West in Rio Rancho (off 528), had several Honda CB Rebels available several weeks ago. I don't know how many CC's they have....Have you tried them?

Not quite ready for a Rebel yell - what I'm looking for is more vintage - '60s, not '80s. A 1968 CB175 would more likely be in somebody's back yard than at a dealer. ~S

FS: 2000 XR100 in Littleton

PRICE - $1000...

We have a 2000 XR100. Totally stock. Still on original tires with tread. We bought it in near new condition 2 years ago but the youngun' just has not taken to motorcycling. It has been on its side a few times so a few scrapes but nothing major or broken. Runs great, never flogged by an adult. Fitted for a throttle stop screw if that tells ya anything about how it was ridden.

Perfect Hooligan TT bike. Bike is located at Simms and Quincy on the far NW corner of Littleton. email for more info please and thanks.

Leo ljahearn at me dot com.

Sorry no up close pics- this is all I got on my hard drive and the bike is in Littleton with me in the Springs until Friday. Thanks!

I prefer to sell both for $300+ shipping or pick up along the Colorado Front Range.

I'd give ya $250 for the set PM sent

Trade for Medium?: Adult Lg Pressure Suit

I bought this on eBay last week and it's too big. I'd trade for a medium pressure suit or sell for $50. It has a small tear (not visible on the picture) in the fabric near the collar bone. I'm a 40L suit size. 6'2" and 170lbs. The shoulders are too wide for me.

WTB: Winter project

Looking for a vintage motorcycle winter project. I restore almost any make and model but have a soft spot for European and British. I'm actually jonesing for a single or twin Japanese bike to build a street tracker/scrambler/tt style "mini McQueen" type bike out of. Sold a restored CB450 year before last and have been kicking myself ever since!

If you've got something that's not wanted anymore or something you're half way through and want to move on, PM me. I usually deal in cash, but have parts and bikes I'd be willing to trade if the right project presented itself.

I'm not looking to "turn" a bike for profit... I want something to restore this winter and add to the stable and RIDE!

Thanks

Townhouse

Not exactly moto related, but it does have an oversized 2-car garage... to work on bikes

Anyhoo, just throwing it out that my townhouse is going on the market (I know - yippie skippie in these times). But help a brother out as the next place has a detached insulated/heated/220/~600sq foot shop on 5 acres! Tech days just got a bit easier

Husky 26gallon electric oil-less air compressor

***SOLD***

Here is the deal;

I need a compressor for some of the work I do - a few weeks ago the belt on this compressor broke and I didn't have time to wait to get a new one and replace it because I was in the middle of a big job, so I just ran up to Sears and bought a new compressor.

I finally got around to ordering the belt and putting it on, so I'm selling this one.

Its two years old - has worked flawlessly for me (other than the belt breaking) and is in perfect condition - mechanically and cosmetically.

It was $280 new with some various air tools. I'm gonna hang on to the tools, so how bout $125 obo for the compressor.

EF,

What hoses/attachments are you letting go with the compressor?
