Bringing the bike in to the shop tomorrow because of a EWS failure and might not be riding this weekend after all.

First, check your knuckle guards. Have they slipped down and made contact with your clutch or brake levers?

Mine did and it cost me half a day and $50 for Ride West to raise them and tighten the nut!

Just a thought...and I hope it's somthing as simple!

Sorry to hear that MADDADDY. I'm taking the Strom to the shop Saturday for some much needed service. I think I'll leave it there for the weekend and have the brakes done right this time. All the rain, mud and beating crap out of the old girl trying to keep up with the thumpers off the pavement has taken a toll.

I'm going to roll out the old Hondadog and head up to the North cascades Saturday with some buddies on the smooth roads. Shake down ride for a brand new ST1300 .

I'm gonna try and go

This sunday, the 27th. It gives me a good excuse to escape some camping responsibilities.

I'll be looking for anybody else to come along, sick, dead or injured bikes are welcome. Brakes are overrated.

Did this get moved to the 3rd? I'm in the market for a south sound ride this weekend.

Lets Do It! Sunday The 27th

I'll be leaving Renton about 7:00am to make Olympia By 8:00am. OK, brakes are over rated. So if you see a fat guy on a silver bike coming up behind you, stay to the right .

I live in Oly and am looking forward to riding with you guys, some time -- I can't make this one (dang). I'm the guy who showed up on the Triumph Thruxton right when you folks were leaving the Fish Bowl a few weeks ago (I also have a KLR). I hope to see you again for a ride or a MAG.

DA PLAN:

Meet at the Spar cafe in downtown Olympia 8:00 am Sunday May 27th.

DA ROUTE: Out to Matlock and Wynooche lake. FS road 23 back across the south end of Olympic nationl forest to Hwy 101. Then back to the Fishbowl in Olympia for Food, Grog and lots of tall tales (aka: lies) about what great riders we are.

This route is big bike friendly. About 70% well maintained gravel FS roads. Side trips up higher roads for those that need a bigger thrill are out there.

Looks like there's some renewed interest for Sunday the 27th. So, let's give it a shot.

Hey Steven, you're not the new Guy anymore. You earned your stripes last weekend for sure . I don't think we'll have to deal with the kind of rain we got last Sunday. Looks like a few of us are starting from the same general area. Maybe we can hook up for the ride down around Auburn or Puyallup? Either way, come Hungry. They have great food at the Spar
