Anyone still riding down south? We're going to take a fully loaded shake down ride Sunday. Thought we might head south and enjoy this great weather before we head for the great white north next week

Anyone (MADDADDY) got the address for the Royal? We'll be pretty hungry and thirsty about mid afternoon

Thank you very much! If it looks like a total down pour , we might head east to get out of the rain. If it's just the usual drizzle we're going to hit the key peninsula, Shelton and such and come back through Government village. 3 or 4 sounds about right. See ya on the road.

Ammendment: It's now 4:30 am and raining hard. We're heading east and try to get out of this crap!

We were in a little drizzel going over Stevens pass, then full on rain from Greenwater back to Renton. Levenworth, Ellensburg and Yakima were warm and sunny. The biggest damper on the day was our visit with the Washington state trooper.
A fellow rider (FJR1300) and very nice fellow. He however felt it neccesary to write all 3 of us for 60mph in a 50mph zone, even though we were just cruising along at a safe and sane rate. Claims of complaints of sport bike squids traveling at very high rates of speed and scaring the public, and an increasing fatality rate has prompted a crack down on motorcycles on Hwy 410 and around Mt. Rainier. Oh well, such is the system. They can't catch the geeks wheeling down the Hwy at 100mph, and they won't touch the rolling road block of 12 chrome barges riding side by side at 45mph holding up even the RV drivers!

I have no cause to rant though. I have been known to exceed the posted speed limit at times by a little more than 10mph . So I'll gladly pay my $113.00 fine and caulk it up to Karma. See ya when we get back from our 2 weeks of fun in Alaska and Canada.

Putting things in perspective, that's the perfect way to ruin a potential good standard anti-cop ticket rant.

By the way, is anybody in the South Sound meeting anywhere these days?

I'm looking at a potential route around the south side of St. Helens. Date unsure of.

The Fish Bowl
(lunch & beers) and The Spar (breakfast & coffee) seem to be the stomps in Olympia. DANRIDE is the official South Sound MAG leader.

I get things teed up for the Middle Sound (Redhook Brewery: Tuesdays in Woodinville) and Springs coordinates the North Sound (Engel's Pub: Thursdays in Edmonds).

These three spots have turned out to be the most visited and Riders continue to show up around 4:30PM to 8:30PM...and the beat goes on!
