I don't think we are going anywhere we have tio pay to get to.

TP may ride a little at the beginning but he will have a grandson on the back and will peel off early.

New guy in the area.

Hey guys, just moved into town (Auburn) and found a smoking deal on a XR650L. Picked it up this morning, should be ready for some riding here soon. Would love for someone to show me the area. Down for anything from pavement to singletrack.

Welcome, AttoirRE,

Join us on the west side of the Sound sometime. Also, join the XRL owners' thread http://advrider.com/forums/showthrea...4834&page=2998. Seth0941 is around here somewhere and also an XRL man.

A friend and I are going to spend the day riding behind the Wynoochee dam tomorrow. We will be passing through Elma at about 11 am. All are welcome. I will be the fat guy on a red and white XR650L and my friend will be on a white and blue XL600R

New rider from Oly here. Picked up my DR650 about 3 months ago and got my endorsement 1 month ago. I really want to do some off pavement riding but I have zero experience. Dont really know of anywhere good to go learn and not sure how smart it would be to attempt it on my own. Anybody know of a good place to start out around Olympia? Was thinking maybe capitol forest. Unfortunately the only person I know that rides has a crotch rocket and therefore cant really do anything but go fast.

Puget Sound Safety Off Road (PSSOR) teaches trail riding out in Roy. They have one day classes that really can help.

I can attest to the quality of their classes, I took the Intermediate just a few weeks ago, good information, well presented, good riding area.
