Most perfect airhead ever.....

.....was the 1984 R100CSLE that I sold a few years back. The good doctor emailed me and told me he is selling it for the same reason I did. It's just so perfect and "new" that he was scared of something happening to it or a bug hitting it. I put a few hundred miles on it. He has put 200 miles on it since 2004. Sick isn't it. He's got it on IBMWR. I'vce had a few airheads in my time but nothing even close to this one. Someone needs to ride this thing or put it in a museum.

I hope somebody buys that bike, and RIDES IT!
No matter how nice a bike is, you have to ride it. It may not be 15-20K a year, but 200 miles................I'd be ashamed! Why have it?

How was your trip, Trout? Back to 50-60 hr weeks now?

I checked IBMWR and it looks like this is just up the road from me in Lousville, KY. If someone needs me to pick it up and ride it a while for them, I'll make the sacrifice.

Trout, yer killin me with that picture. I have a painter lined up for my project bike thats willing to try the Red Smoke scheme on my bike. Now I see that white and it kind of reminds me of my old 88RS that was pearl white.
Whats a man to do ?

Mike

The good thing is, your damn motor can't read. If it says oil on the container, it's pretty much OK to dump in there.... ED.

Here's the ad from the ibmwr:

1984 R100CS LAST EDITION
Motorsport Pearl White with red/blue pinstriping; Mint; Solo and Dual seats, 32,900 miles, Bags. I purchased this bike for $7,500.00 in 2004, and have ridden it less than 200 miles since—it is too perfect. If you are looking for a truly collectable bike or a “New” Airhead, this is it. E-pix.

$5000 would be more like it. for sure, there are many parts to replace (rubber, etc.) due to rot from not using the bike.
