I'll buy ya a beer and plain burger anytime ya want at the Still House, and it'd be nice to have other FF's join us......................but I know it's WAY to far for anyone else to show

I have suggested this before, I think Earwig's house would be a great place for a meetup.

Bet we can at least get a plain burger.

I'd be up for having one here..................but once again..........it's a loooong ways away
(and it would really be a lot of fun to have one here the same time the kissers are having one of their gatherings)

Don't know about Casa Naranja, but I have been and go to the Green Dragon a lot. I like the place, and it is where I met Ramona.

Problem is that I and most of us can't afford to drink more than 1 beer there, and most of us like to have more than one. Food is expensive there too. Great bar, just spendy.

The $1.50 PBR options are a lot easier for most in this economy.

Stick to the "I" Del From reading the last 2 days discussion I think the only conclusion that can be drawn about "most of us" is that an overwhelming majority are eager for a change of venue.

That's fine with me. No matter the venue, a significant percentage won't like it. That's the nature of these things and I accept it.

The best gatherings have always been at someone's house. They were...

Road Rash, Browhousebeer, and Fishy who were our gracious hosts.

But... I won't stick to the "I", as I know for a fact that a lot of us are not flush with cash and can't reasonably spend $4.50 on a beer.

I say change the venue, and I am glad I am not on the committee.

Quit the whining already [aimed generally] and come up with a better venue. I will be there. Or not if you pay me enough to not show up.

So since collectively we really are ready for a change, how about we start having it at people's houses? I'll host one. Earwig can convince Debbie. Road Rash will do it after he gets his awning built. C'mon, throw some brats and bacon on the grill and we are good. Bring your own beer and it's on!

Isn't this all academic now you're on the restricted beer diet in order to squeeze into your new 'Stich. Sounds like expensive beer might be just the incentive

I'd be happy to put one up... but it's a long trip. I doubt it would be feasible for me to do it on a Thursday, but I can do a Friday or a Saturday.

Anybody want to travel to Sheridan for a Thursday, observed on Saturday?

Awning is built, but I'm still way to far away then most want to travel.......................plus I am known to drag a few up in the hills once they make it to OC.....................cue the banjo's now
