Nobody's talking? Everybody still going? Anybody need a guide?

RR, is the BBQ still on? Can I bring anything? What is a good time to show up?

I'm going - my bald rear tire on the Uly is flat, and will be on the 640A. No opportunity for meat hauling, so I can take care of dinner elsewhere.

I have directions already - what time are you going? Aren't you in Milwaukie?

I am in Milwaukie. I can leave most anytime, depending on anyone wanting to hook up.

Yep, the BBQ is still on, I just got home from work (sucks) and will be heading to the store soon, I'll be picking up some hamburger, buns and chips, I have cheese and condiments, so I think we're good to go, feel free to come over anytime after 4pm, and Mort, you can cook

you boys have fun,, and no burnouts on the lawn after those cold beerz!
Had a nice little "skip work, let's ride" afternoon with Sector. She is on her way to Eye-dee-ho with 5 days free to ride. She stopped here for lunch, and then we rode up the old Marcola hwy. to Holly, then Sweethome, then up the 20 hwy. to the junction @126, where we parted ways. Gorgeous day, light traffic, all good. And I made it back to town just in time to close the shop for the day!

It was a great ride! Here's a teaser:

One casualty from the git-go, an overflowing carb that wouldn't quit.

And the teaser with Mt. Hood in the background.

Thanks for inviting me along, it was great!

More pics

One step from falling to my death

Circle the wagons, lunatics are coming!

Just what the hell are they all excited about? It's like bugs to a light (or flies to a turd? ) .

Oh, it must be this!

Here, I took a picture of myself taking a picture. Neat trick, eh?

Jeez, who invited this weirdo along?

What a great Thursday evening! Thanks again Road Rash for opening your home and cooking up some burgers. We'll have to do some more riding out your way. I've explored the outer limits of Oregon City very little over the years.

Shit.

Sorry I missed it - at one light at a ramp off of 205, I watched as a pool formed under the bike the size of a platter. 1,000 thanks for the tubing, as the fuel on my case could have made the high rpm ride home a bit more.... volatile.

I am hoping this will be a temporary thing, but if I need to pull the carb to access the float - it sounds like an operation.

RoadRash - thanks for the (almost) ride and grub. Everyone seemed to be on their best behavior for TequilaGirl!

If you need a hand pulling that carb off, let me know. I've done it 5 times in the last 2 weeks dialing in my FCR and can get it removed and reinstalled in an hour (compared to the 6 hours it took my first time).

Glad you made it home ok. That sucked.

Yeah bummer that you had to head home, let me/us know when you get it sorted out and we'll do it again.
And I think TequilaGirl was a little disappointed in everyone, I told her you we're all a bunch of crazy FF's

I like this picture, you do gotta watch yer step up there

I'll try to put up a ride report later today, if I get all my chores done.

Sorry I couldn't make it.... The street pig might have had a hard time with that haul anyway
