Yeah, those KTM's come with kick-starters just so you can convince your friends that they should push-start you when the kicker doesn't work
Here's a link with some pretty pics and start of a good ride report, then it turns to a tale of woe...

Dood. That sucks. Glad it worked out and you had a few folks that knew when to take you in..... would you have had issues if you drank the same volume of Gatorade/Vitamin Water/etc.?

TKC-80's on the way..... thanks for letting me use your tire changer, Gustavo.

I don't know, but it probably wouldn't have been so bad. More electrolyte-containing fluids will definitely be part of the plan next time I'm in the heat!

I have a Dr. appointment in Milldogpee at 2 or 3, and was planning on a scenic route - 26 to 47 to Clatskanie, ferry to Cathlamet. Maybe Scapoose to Vernonia to Clatskanie......

Whaddaya think?

I try not to think... it hurts my head...
Besides, I need to get a start on getting used to surviving without the brain cells that are certain to be lost on this trip.

I was going to take a left out of my driveway and go from there.
Never took the ferry before... might be fun, but hanging a left after crossing the Longview bridge is a fun bit of twisties too. Backway to Vernonia then on to 30? Skyline to that fun dirt section then the great twisties down to 30.... decisions decisions.... they all start with taking a left out of my driveway...

I gotta actually load all my crap on the bike and see what it is like.... I still haven't loaded for an overnighter before. Maybe I should just bring the motorhome instead .

Nah, I just park it in the drive way, and polish it.
