Generally speaking, that would give access to the property from the middle of October to the middle of April. Obviously, he is trying to find another souce of income during the off months.

My question is: What would you be willing to pay per day to play on 1200 acres of cow paths, creeks, and 30 degree or steeper hillsides?

The number of riders would be limited, maybe to no more than 50 per day so everyone would have their own space to experience the Hills.

Camping facilities could be set up along the creeks or in the ravines on the sides of the hills and be available at a nominal extra cost.

Basically though, what would the opportunity to ride a place like this for a day be worth to you? Please be honest as this is a serious request.

Tom
It depends on the actual quality of the terrain and other things like the number of free riding areas within an hour or two of my house, but I think I might go as high as $30/day if primitive camping is included.

I'd (flash) throw in to ride open cattle range. It's fun.

I forgot I was using Lisa's laptop.

Not to discourage but because I think it needs to be part of the equation, would he have to get some kind of a liability insurance just in case?
Otherwise, I would probably be willing to pay up to $50 a day if I was not planning on being there very often, otherwise, he may sell a year pass (as long as cattle are gone) for $300 or $400 just my .02

You might want to start a new thread, to get the attention of folks outside of Kansas. OK, NE, MO are not very far.

I will probably go. Leave out on the 7th after work and stay in Garden City. Come home Sunday, it is almost exactly the same miles as West Fest Last year.

Jenny and I made it out to Greensburg; our first time since the tornado. I parked the FJ in the middle of the street because there was no traffic. Of all the talk of rebuilding in the news, it's amazing to see what isn't there. Just a bunch of trees with no bark and holes where people's homes used to be.

With only so much vacation time it would be difficult to swing this on top of my wish to see what may be the last Pike's Peak run before they pave to the top. Independence Day.
