Cold..........what cold. It is going to get up to 56. So the ride up will most likely be about 40-45. Not too bad.

An FJR had been on my mind since the re-routed the airflow in the '06 model to handle the engine heat. A dealer in Georgia had one offered at cost less holdback. I had an offer for the KLR at what I had in it. Just...couldn't...resist.

No on the auto. Bad write-ups in the cycle magazines, plus I like traditional shifting.

As for the twist of the wrist, back from Daytona in 20 hours, and I stopped for 1 hour for a nice dinner. For 2 hours across Tenn. and never got below 90 mph, usually above 100 mph. Need to get heated grips and put on the laminar lip I purchased for it.

I do need a 650 dual-sport to have some off-road fun.

From O.P. to Holt is 43 miles, fer doG's sake...from their website..."far enough to make it a ride"

I used to race Hare Scrambles at Holt, in the early 70's. Still have a 3rd place trophy around here somewhere.

Damn I'm old.

I was drooling over a new Speed Triple a while back.
while I was at the insurance agent I had the cute blond look up a quote on one.

No amount of sweet talking would bring that rate down enough to justify getting one.

another dream shot to hell.

This will be my first time so what ever time is good for the masses. I have a greay DL1000 with a large ADV under the license and a small one on the wind screen.

I need to check the Regional more often I guess.

Bake - keep me in mind if you put together a weekend Gyp Hills ride, I'd be up for it if the weekend worked out.
