I think a good thorough inspection isn't a bad idea. Of course, while inspecting the bike, I'll need something to get around on.

Your KLR should fit the bill.

Looks like Saturday might be the best bet for this weekend.

I'm thinking gravel roads south of KC on the KS side.

Hayden. Goddard Ks. XRR, KTM Adv, Dakar, KLX 650C.

282 miles on Sat 4/21/07 Agusta, Beaumont, Piedmont, Severy, through the flint hills up to Cassody, Newton, Halstead, Colwich and home to Goddard. A little windy but a great day. The XRR didnt miss a beat and the pig found some mud to roll in

I did, put about an hour on it this weekend. Then I got around to worrying about maintanence stuff. I don't think the valves have been adjusted recently, and I know the decompression hasn't been. The exhaust has a pretty major leak at the head, which you couldn't hear because the baffle is out, and theres a pretty minor oil leak at the countershaft sprocket. Ohh, and the horn doesn't work, or isn't very loud, one of the two.

Will have everything fixed by Friday morning though so I can ride out to HPT to work the races this weekend. Anyone wanna go?

Made it to Moab Saturday, ran the White Rim Trail Sunday and Lathrop Canyon Trail.
today it rained pretty much all day,no riding today.

went south in the truck today to look at the Needles and the Anticline Overlook,on the way back it started snowing.

Lots of pics of the White Rim I will post when I get back.

The 450 is almost an unfair advantage out here.
