MLB 2015 - Let's Go

Really not a thread yet?

Opening Day - Lets Go

Watching the Fat Man Colon do well against the Nats, except for Harper.

Then some bad errors by the Nats to let the Mets score runs.

Duda looking good for the Mets - should build on a great year from last year.

Yankees - No bueno today.

And the Sox banged the Philles Hard - Ouch.

Hoping for a good year & going to get to some games this year.

Let's Go!

After the off-season roster purge, climaxed by a Sunday night trade of the best reliever in the world, it was nice to see the Braves win and the new closer go 3-up-3-down.

Yesterday was the Lord's Day! So it didn't count.

And Baseball should be played during the day.

As the late, great Ernie Banks said, Let's Play Two...

I try not to say too much about my Orioles until after the all-star break. Too many times we've come out red hot in The spring only to fizzle by the summer.

I think we'll be fine without Cruz. He had a big bat but his fielding was a bit of a nail biter at times. Wish we kept Markakis though, I know it's a business but that guy was a core member of the team and helped us out of the dark days. Glad to see him doing well in Atlanta today.

The reaction in Atlanta is to wonder why a rebuilding team gave 31 year-old Markakis so much money. I think the answer is that while it's true that the team is rebuilding, the management still believes that it's fielding a competent team. I'm looking forward to seeing what Markakis can do. It would be nice if the Braves surprised some folks this season.

If my Yankees don't do well, I root for the O's. Great Ballpark.

And the Greek, I didn't realize he went south. Thats a loss for them & a good pick up by Atl.

Hope to make an O's game this year.

That's why the good-fielding Mariners have him at DH. Cruz might just be the missing link (so-to-speak) of getting the Ms to actually score a reasonable amount of runs to complement the good pitching and fielding.

Sox beat the Yankees!

We went from last to first to last to...

Maybe we can keep that pattern going.
