Isn't there a Kimball's in Jaffrey, NH? That's where I usually go. I didn't realize there were more of them.

I think so. The mothership is the one near Littleton, MA. Bates Farm in Carlisle got annexed ten years or so ago.

For you other MetroWest folks, don't you miss the Willow Pond Country Kitchen?

And what's wrong with Billerica? My brother lives there, and yes he's a Sox fan and yes he sucks too.

Fitz is from Wilmington. I hate those people in Wilmington, thinking their shit doesn't stink because they're right there on 93.

Us poor folks over in Billerica always thought it was jealousy borne by the fact that we have two 99 restaraunts, while they struggle by with one.

Oh, and we have more DeMoula's Market Baskets, too. The Dunkin' Donuts count is too volatile for my recollection to be accurate these days.

Thats the one I usually head for (even though I'm about 2 miles from the Westford one)! Get off of 119 and look for Rt 123 up through Mason NH. Incredible bike road, even has Uncle Sams birth place on it!

We used to tell people the town was named after the two people that founded it way back when; Bill and Erica.

When I was a kid Billerica was a place you went to on vacation. Cottages on the lakes/river etc. The Boston area Boy Scouts had a big Camp there, Camp Oak. Now known as the Oak Industrial Park. It was right across the Street from the 99 on the Middlesex Turnpike. The Burlington Mall was a sand pit! Christ how much has changed. Even my town, it was rural and all farms when I bought in in 1978. Now its Yuppie Ground Zero. (the value of my property is now in the shocking range Damn Yuppies!)

WTF is up with the Billerica Po-po? They need a new hobby.

Nevermind, my last day is one of these days this week, just as soon as I get my severance stuff in writing, and I can use my last 5 sick days

Buh-bye, bill'rica, you suck...

It's the only town I've ever seen where a burger king went under for lack of business. They just tore down the building this week, across from the Kmart plaza, that had sat empty for the last 6 years.

As far as I know, there's only 2 DD;'s in town now, one on 3A across from the plaza, just south of town center, and one in the Mobiul on the middlesex tpke.

My first job ever in MA, after college, was in Wilmington. Now that I know that's where Fitz came from, it all fits into place....

Can't ya tell the sox are off tonight?

Former Red Sox pitcher Josh Hancock was killed yesterday when his Ford Explorer hit a 26,000 pound rollback car carrier which was stopped in the left lane. Hancock was pitching for the Saint Louis Cardinals this season. Red Sox Nation and all of baseball mourn his loss.

The Sox lost a tough one tonight in the tenth after leading through eight. Schilling gave up two runs through seven and had a 4-2 lead when he left. Oakland tied it in the ninth and won in ten. We'll get it back tomorrow.

GO SOX!
