bushcamptourers email list

Hello all,

For those who were on the Lime Bay trip ... Mr J & me had this idea of 'Fri Nite Escapes' a year or 2 ago and have been keeping an email list called 'bushcamptourers' for that purpose .

If you'd like to be on the list ... PM or email me (email address @ my web site -> see the sig).

Daz.

Speaking for myself ... I may be going up to the Steppes Homestead (Central Plateau north of Bothwell/south of Great Lake) on Fri nite 4 May 07 to spend 2 nites with a bunch of bushwalkers who'll camp there, campfire & bbq included. The place is a Parks & Wildlife Reserve, so some mellow minded bikers would probably not be out of place either.

Beyond that ... and apart from the Mt McCall/Bird River Track trip planned for the Queens Birthday LWE 9-11 Jun 07 ... Sat 26/5 noon - Sun 27/5 noon sound feasible for doing another riding trip. I wouldn't mind having another closer look at the Tasman Peninsula, exploring other tracks ...

... anyone else with something they'd like to do? ...

when I get a bit of a spare moment I'll sort out a bit of a tour around Bruny Island which will include a camp at the southern end of cloudy bay, so a bit of beach riding will be involved.

just give me a few days to start and get a plan together then we'll talk dates.

Hiya Jim,

How are you liking Tassie so far? Planning to stay awhile?

Anybody up for a day ride on the28th or 29th of this month?

Looking to , either , explore some more of the Floretine valley , or head into the depths of Black Bobs.

Also thinking of having a camping trip to Griffin park (Mathinna) , for a meeting of Tassie ADVriders in the next month or so.

Tassie bound Nov 2007

Hello Tassie Riders

I am from Perth - although time permitting plan to tour around Tassie during November this year on a GS12. If you have a few rides organised for then would like to join in if possible.

28th for Black Bobs sounds good to me!!

Think the VTX might struggle for traction and ground clearance on this one
