Trees were too low over the track. That's how I staked the tyre in the first place.

Howdy Tracey.

Ivan (nyp ) started on the bikes today , after several weeks of van driving.
He seems pretty keen to get some sort of road trail bike , was talking about an XR600 the other day.

PMed him regarding my intrest, it might be a bit over sprung for me even with the bigger tank. he says he has started to remove the farkles to return it to more original, and I gotta fly up, ride back in 2 days, boat over, re rego...so I'll end up about evens when I weigh that up as well.

Mind it would be fun..

We (both of us and the kids) are looking at doing a long ride to my folks place in Central Western QLD for the school holidays in September, so we might not be attending any rides organised in September, but look forward to seeing the pics

Neopluradon (& anyone else in my neighbourhood this coming weekend) - thinking of starting out near Lilydale Saturday and going for a quick squirt for a few hours or so. Head straight across the back of mt arthur to myrtle park, see how far up mt barrow I can get until bits of me start to freeze off, back down and across to mathinna, and then loop up around ringarooma back home. Or maybe back down through blessington. Just a thought. Interested?
Stromerette - I've never been on an oldfart ride (not yet anyway), but I think you're right - most of them look to be 10 - 20 years off old fart status. Wish I could say teh same. And spell proply.

Packing up the family for a big ride next month.....Lovely Tracey Can we come hehe...

How'd you go with your 1st week at work?

Bike update: In the process of ordering general parts/tyres. Also got the boys (Matt & O'l Father) sorted to spend a day in the garage together. Would like to learn a few quicker ways of maintenance...haven't progressed past my learners plates yet . Should be back on the road in a few weeks...

Middy....I wish I had your height mate. I was a little ripped off in that department at birth and wish I was tall enough to buy a 640R !! Although I know my abilities aren't worthy...Goodluck with the bike hunting, hope you find one soon.

G'Day Measureman & Neopluradon, have a great ride this weekend. Nope not envious at all.... Lol

On the Road again

Hi all, Anne and I are on the road again, looking for some warm weather. Not much luck though Are well, just sit on the beach and watch those low flying F-18's hugging the coast. (Tea Garden)

Be back at the end of the month

Hey Nicki,

Here's the link to that long range tank I was telling you about that fits in place of the dummy exhaust.

Hi Nicki

Sure why not, the more the merrier and my folks love visitors and they are in the gem fields so you can even dig to find yourself some more stones for jewellery

Has been excellent at work actually. already been bucked off though in my 2nd week (this last Monday) stupid really but much easier to take the CT110 landing on you and then picking up then the VStrom.

I also suffer from height deficiancy
when I looked at dirt bikes there wasnt many that were road registerable that I could get onto.

Ian, have sent a PM

Tracey
