hope no-one got 'done' by the booze bus on south rd (north side of Cross road bridge)

dunno who would be 'responsible' if someone got done after a beer night..

It was a good turnout last night. Great to see some faces making themselves 'regulars' at the Avoca Beer Nights now.

For those who might be riding to various places over the weekend - look after yourselves and enjoy.

Got thru the booze bus OK and then watched 3 motorbike cops and a cop car in a high speed chase on North East Road by the Holden Hill Cop station....hope they caught the bloody idiot.

You might be right, we went that way twice Wed...AM Glass Gorge & Parachilna......PM out on Glass then up the PAR, I did give a wave...Yellow BMW GS800 ?

Had my less loud exhaust tip in, better on the long sections...not too loud I hope. Would have stopped but was on a mission.

When we went out after lunch there was a XR650, DR650? & a couple of BMW's. outside the pub.

We were staying at Rose cottage, crn by the Parachilna rd.

I guess it wasn't really a ADV ride as the bike went up on a trailer, but a XT225 & XR400 from Adelaide ? That's why they were strapped down so well...so I can do normal speed without worrying about bikes getting loose.

Are you coming up for the Flinders Classic III Tony?

My plan like previous years is to leave McDonalds Pooraka (Corner Main Nth Rd & Montague Rd) at 7.30am Friday 7th May & ride past the BP Gawler by 8.00am (Trev's usual meeting place for any northeners).............. then ride the tar to around Spalding then hit the dirt, (Stone Hut Bakery was good last year ) getting to Blinman @ 5pm. "An adventure within an adventure"

Shit I've just realised it's only 3 & a bit weeks away, better get crackin'.

Will be good if paths can cross.

Normally leave Blinman by say 10am on Monday & get back to town by 4-5pm, but if there are earlier deadlines, these plans are very flexible and I will adjust the route as I go.

Last year it was straight back in the pouring rain on the slab.
