He's going to ride the Oodnadata Track and get to the town of Finke Sat afternoon and will probably stay there or head up the road a little bit before camping. If you see him say G'day.

cheers

Hi Terry, he did go for a ride Sunday but not sure where. He was out at the Kingsford property (McLeods Daughters) for their open inspection around lunchtime with his wife and then at my place for the afternoon. I didn't ask him where he'd gone......we were too busy opening bottles of red.

We're also busy planning his trip to Finke, wish I was going but after 8 weeks off work I must go back next Monday - just not the right thing to take another week or so off for a bike ride, which is the whole bloody reason I'm off in the first place - somewhat circular don't you think?

cheers

Blue DR650, Blue Jacket and Blue road helmet?, that was me getting some miles up on the Piglet. There were a few bikes out and about on Sunday. That wasn't you on the BMW 650 doing a burnout on the dirt was it?
Regards Bob

Will do more with Trev if invited of course....must join MB some day as well.

Terry
You ride, you are from SA, all 'membership' criteria present and accounted for sir.

I went and looked through the thread and added a few other people, and a couple more ride reports. If I have missed anyone, please PM me (easier then zooming through 100 posts) then I will be happy to stick them in too.

Hiya MB

Looking at a bike on the weekend... bit worried about the KM's.. but if the price is right....
Sold off my Yami, Honda is dead and bought a house, so im in the povo box. I sold the Yami, intending to get a new SXC (had my name down, and some farkels already).. then saw the 690E and cancelled :) Was hanging and waiting for a 690E.. then I saw the price *cry* so going cheaper. :(

Lots of talk but no action in my neck of the woods unfortunatley.

As long as my missus can come (taxi), I would be interested in the next Avoca drinks? (shes good viewing if it helps sway votes ;))

Im a youngun, so I hope to fit the 'vibe'. Its all about the vibe your Honour.

Hey BigM

Don't worry about the taxi thing, I turned up for drinks the last time (great night guys , lets do it again ), and no one else turned up on a bike. They all mumbled something about it being cold or something like that.

All's welcome, no ego's there, partners often come with their "gnarly" adventurers & we then hear who's the boss.

Am I correct in understanding that you want us to become "vibe" raters for your wife? .

Keep an eye out for the next impromptu, unorganised drinks night, usually when those working out of town are around.

cya soon
Cheers

Well then,

"Hey Mike, that was only so the girls didn't get cold, really "

Something you're not telling us Kym?? Huh?

How about next Tues/Wed/Thurs night? No Kym, not all 3 or you'll be legless. Tuesday (3rd June) would probably be better, gives a bit of notice and still allows people to spend the rest of the week getting ready for the LWE if they are going away.

Same place, at the Avoca, 7:00PM. at least this time i'lll know who i'm looking for!

Back to you lot :)

Mike

Woops, just realised Kym threw the invite to HumanOne (didn't get the H1 thing. Derrr!. Sorry, i'll shut up now)
