Kipo, work out what you want out there and let me know. Off the top of my head I guess you'll need the ale and esky/ice, handfull of sleepers + wood to get the fire going, what about cooking gear etc? I can muster up a grill and some BBQ tools, is that all you'll need? What about the actual food? Mate, it's only a fortnight away, we need to talk.

No worries Trev, I'm thinking as you say; esky with beer, perhaps wait and see how many intend coming so we know what type of grog and how much. If no one else puts their hand up to come by early next week we'll make a decission. Some fire wood and perhaps a grill and tongs will do. We can bring meat to throw on the grill.
The other thing is we need to sort out is where to camp/watch, do you have any suggestions?

Nothing is going to stuff me around, don't worry about that. I'll see what I can work out for a location but it's only been 31 yrs since I camped out on the trial..........Hards has emailed us the location of their club's location, that might be an idea. Someone will have a suggestion.

Swung it with work so I'm flying in on the Friday.
Dave's driving down so he'll pick me up at the airport.
We're not sure where a good vantage spot is and would appreciate some ideas.

Guys, I'm asking around for a good spot to camp/watch/have fire and am waiting for responses. There are few places where you can do all three so you won't be able to be too fussy. Hard's crew are manning a checkpoint and have asked that there be no noise, no partying and no excessive drinking - I guess that counts their spot out...........I'll advise.

Chance are very likley that a liquid dinner would necessitate the requirement to erect a suitable dwelling for the purposes of slumber.
