Nice one Mike!

Get her ready for the Pooncarie / Mungo Run in October / November!

You will notice that you have now been added to the list of attendees.

Cheers,

Pete

I reckon we're about due for an evening at the Avoca. Sounds like there's some good stories to share...

Thanks Peter.

Glad to see you made it home safely :). D must be happy :)

Will pick up the new bike on wednesday, and it will be ready for Mungo. Plenty of bits to bolt on already. Some manufacturing to do. Another bit arriving from the US soon.

Hi Aaron; I'm up for the Avoca. A thursday night? Name the day :)

Avoca ...

Dogsbody and myself are away from tomorrow for work, so wouldn't be able to make it for a couple of weeks, so you'll miss out on our version of the OCR antics.

But when we get back, we'll make a date for sure. We should be able to complete a Ride Report by then too.

I'll be at the 'A' this Thursday night at 7 for a quickie or 2 (drinks that is!)

Pick up the new bike tomorrow. Thinking of painting it orange and black just for fun

Got 2 lots of stuff arriving from the US for it (pannier protection racks and a Thermo-Bob). Should arrive in time to be fitted for Mungo I reckon.

Got ADV stickers on order so they should be here in the next day or so as well.

I'm a happy camper.

Mike

Hi Guys

Well, after seeing how well orange burns, maybe I won't. Ouch! Poor bugga.

Sorry Kym, not riding it on thursday, the weather will be too inclement I feel. Don't want to get it too dirty.

Besides, I have bits to bolt on tonight, so it could well still be in bits on Thursday night while that is still happening. Nothing ever goes as well as you plan it. I figure a few hours to do what I have to, but it will undoubtedly take a few days is my bet. BUT, I am going to be riding it over the weekend. Need to get the first couple of hundred kms on it ASAP. Hate running bikes in, way boring!

And, Thursday is my usual car day (go swimming morning and evening), too much gear to cart around, and besides, going to pick up a SH dryer from Seaton which I managed to pick up for $50. Bargain.

You'll have to happy with pics I will try to post today/tonight. I'll take a couple at work today and post 'em ASAP.

Catch you all tomorrow night.

Take care everyone.

Mike

Don't worry about the 'think tank" kano, it's gunna depend on how big the fuel tank is if there's no fuel at Poocarie.

The KLR holds 22L. One of the reasons I bought it!
