Looks good, but way too clean Mike, I'll see what I can do about that on the next ride

Like your bike Mike!

Fleurieu Day Ride Sunday 14th September

Hi guys
I'm planning to ride a "join the dirt roads on the map" full day ride down the Fleurieu.

Departing 8am ...from BP Belair Sunday 14th September.

BP Belair can be found riding south from the city along Unley Rd continuing along & onto Belair Rd (same road) & up the hill past the Windy Point lookout to the top.

Anyone who wants to get out in the fresh spring air & tag along at their own risk & responsibility are most welcome.

Mostly riding hard packed unless the cats & dogs come down too. ( will confirm Friday prior)

May cya there. ..................errrr "September cya there"

Cheers

not me

I know I missed out on drinks at the Avoca, but have we progressed yet to making it the 3rd/5th/1st thursday of the month yet? Come on, gotta go bench racing!

Not me, even though there is plenty of good tread left on my Pirelli Scorpions after the OCR.
A skippy caught up and overtook me on the left, and tripped me over. The m/c is severely damaged but I'm nearly recovered. Next time I'll pull over before dusk to make camp, grr.
Story elle swear, else when.

Brian's Bench Racing ...

Brian! Sorry to hear about your wildlife mishap. Hope the bike will live to see another few thousand kms? (and also the rider of course)

Here's a bit of your "Bench Racing" from the verandah of the Daly Waters Pub:

I also won't be able to make the ride. Will be back at work wandering aimlessly through the Outback and the Flinders and my bike is still in a state of disrepair at this stage.

Hey Mike, have you seen this report about your KLR.

http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/Articl...ID=7039&Page=3

Good to see there won't be any "Hooliganism" coming from you

Cheers

Hello Kym

Funnily enough, I read this article at lunchtime today. What else can I say, the champ reigns supreme.
See ya Sunday. See if I can drop it in the dirt. I suspect I will. Remember, I have to hone my dirt riding skills yet! Aaron will have his revenge on me i'm sure.

Now, do I go get a set of knobbies (probably D606s) fitted before Sunday, or do I take a chance on the standard tyres for now?

Mike

PS And why were you hanging around klr650.net anyway? Huh? Huh? Not thinking of getting one are you? Good man
