I have Mitas E 08s on the big GS , and I have had a few err, interesring moments on wet clay these past few weeks.

Most tracks are OK , there are just a few spots were there has been too much clay in the rubble, and you can hit them before you realise it.

Just dont try and keep up with guys with knobbies on the slippery bits and you should be OK.

And forget you have brakes.

Got back from the MotoGP last night. Fantastic week away.

Arron, I took the TDM, seeing as that is the type of trip it is really suited for. Did Phillip Island to home in about 12 1/2 hours. Not pushing it hard, but the bike is really great for the long distance touring stuff. Even ran my own private MotoGP session from Mt Barker to home. Great fun. The bike is more than quick enough for me I can tell you.

Met the Andy Strapz man at the MotoGP. Nice bloke, a real enthusiast. Also met Michael from Mororradgarrage.com.au as well. Top guy with a passion for what he sells.

Anyway, starting to prepare for Mungo in ernest now. My Thermo-Bob kit for the KLR arrived from the USA while I was away, so I'll start fitting that today I think, then it's time to get the first service thing over and done with, and rack up the kms to finish running it in.

Lots to look forward to.
