Bernie had it sideways onto Wakefield (T3) with smoke coming (oil) out under the right side..could have been a risky combo !!!

Seen Bernie Friday and he was pushing hard until he hit the smoke screen button on the dash then it was all over

I think he did a 1:34 lap only about 1 second off the pace not a bad effort fingers crossed for today

Hi Paul,

He actually did that lap with the cabin FULL of smoke. Not sure how the TV thing happens today but the team program indicated that their race 3 (today) was to be live (or thereabouts).

EDIT: Checked local TV Guide and it says that the Touring Car Masters is being televised sometime before the Supercars start (?) but after 1230.

I reckon he'd be happy with that, hardly any practice laps over the weekend with all the problems, and comes out 13th and finishes 8th. As I just said to Kipo, big cars, big speeds and bigger balls!!
