Happy Birthday TJ.
How many sleeps now?
No need for basket press Tim, it's a beer night. I actually got some fine basket press up at Ango, for which I am very grateful...my turn to buy the guys a drink.

This age thing might be slowing me down even more, if that's possible. I set up the Ten with a swag on the rack Monday, and my aching joints wouldn't allow me to get the leg over the other side of the bike......old age!!

The 'sleeps' thing has become a little fluid, but it will be this year. I have a job on at work which might take me beyond the initially agreed dates, therefore the 'sleeps' would have been 98, but I think it might extend.

The grey bearded one would also have a significant birthday fast approaching....

cheers

June 30 (He just scraped into 29) Seems a bloody long time ago eh?
As for the mounting thing, I've learned to do it the soft way and mount it like a horse, with the side stand down.

A long, long time ago. I gave a lecture down at Bullsh*t Castle yesterday and relaised that I'd walked in those gates 43.5 years ago.....

I do the side stand thing anyway. I've worked it out though - just need to carry a milk crate around with me, or park alongside a solid structure...

At least he's not a "basket case" although me thinks he would actually prefer a different "full case" other that what he's working on at the moment.

Happy Birthday ol' man

Cheers

Just up from the Rising Sun in Auburn, on the other side of the road, there is a lump of dressed stone on the footpath. It's an old Cobb and Co. stagecoach mounting block. You could always stop there (given that you and it are approximately the same vintage!)

Hi Aaron and Company!

It's been 'ages' since I've caught up with you all.
Looking forward to it. See you when we get there.
You'll recognise me hopefully still? I'm the tall bald guy!

Cheers,

piss funny! Tom is still working at the same factory, riding the same bike, and reading the same paper, whilst Tom's mate is probably Richard Branson

p.s I didn't know they had GoPros in the 50's!

I wanna stay over in Victor Harbor for a couple of nights.

Would anybody have any suggestions ?

nothing flash, just warm and comfortable, not riding the bikes down and plan on doing a bit of fishing and sight seeing

thankyou for not mentioning a retirement village in advance

The Gawler night was great fun. Sol, Kizz, PBee, Aborsmarty, ItsGotToBeYellow (on black now), Concorde, Capt Kaos, and yours truly ran the staff off their legs and had some great conversations amongst great company. Good luck to you guys down south doing the same.....

PBee was standing in the bar in the same spot as taken in this photo and asked if anyone knew where the p*sser was........

All......
