PBee, got a Dunlop 908RR put on the front today, it looks far more aggressive than the one I had, I feel more confident already....might give it a shake over the weekend.

And I did. Took off around the back of Concordia, along some rutted trails and through some slippery (in the shadows) muddy sections. I quite like it. I had my heart in my mouth once but considering it's now done a whole 70kms I thought it managed the tar and the other conditions quite admirably. I put it to the test by crossing the gravel backwards and forwards out by the national park and it didn't give me any reaction other than traction. As you know, my speedo doesn't work after 109 km/h (
), and it maintained my confidence just a tad over that too. At this stage it's a keeper, but I get a feeling that it doesn't like mud or 'nearly' mud. Might just have to stay in bed on wet days then!!![]() Now loaded up for a cold weekend out at Robertstown next weekend...should be fun....400 and 175 are getting out and about.

Just back from the Flinders, SA is a great state, had a couple of minor issues with the Ten 12, Naomi, Pop,s daughter I believe, sorted me in no time flat, and Alan in the workshop went beyond the call of duty to sort a welding job, so a huge shout out to Phil, Alan Naomi and Brodie at Northern Motorcycles,
![]() ![]() ![]() Also a big, big thanktou to Drzwalker, Neil, who also went out of his way to shelter and feed me in Peterborough, cheers Neil, you are a top bloke If in Peterborough, the bike museum, run by a mate of Neils, is a must ,some truly unique bikes!

I got back from the flinders on Sunday night stayed at the girls house got home at lunch today.... to find that the suspension bolt on my bike has been dislodged!!!!! Also appears that my bike was bottoming out so bad its ripped a mounting bracket off the mud guard!!!
So was defiantly a good thing we left a day early or I could of ended up on the SA Police news site with such a potential catastrophic failure :( However in the good news after going with some company I was able to complete more technical terrain and crossed when I felt like deep water in some creek beds :) so that was really rewarding :)

Quick question... where does everyone get their shocks done for their bikes in SA?...
My R1200GSA may have a busted rear shock and I want it checked out and might have to possibly replace it... PS. This is a ESA shock as well :(
