Then they can tell us what the right choice should have been.

Wine:

If it's schnitzel for lunch and it's warm sunny Aussie summer day eating outside... then I can't see how you'd go wrong with a nicely chilled South Aussie oak Chardonnay...???

Of course, if it's fine dining of an evening... I'm gonna go with a good label Shiraz from either Mudgee way or up the Hunter...?

Beer:

Find me any tall cold glass of Weisebier with a slice of lemon on the glass, to wash down a schnitzel... if you please!

How'd I score...?

Not sure what adventure riding you blokes do but here you'd think yourself lucky to score a cold pie and a luke warm can of West End Draught.

Tear off a PEPSI and asparagus burp in a full face helmet... and it could be "game over" right there.

Shove the white wine up ya clacka, bloody cardonay

Nup.....a nice shiraz, preferably McLaren Vale, east facing side of the hill, picked at 17:35 as near to Feb 24th by an immigrant virgin of Asian extraction.

The schnitzel must be served in the rear dining room near the kitchen of the Austral Hotel so as not to lose any of it's warmth.

Entertainment should be watching the waitress trip with a plate of mushroom sauce, this would bear great schadenfreude.

After the red wine retire to the bar for more drinks as Fongy goes to bed.

Okay... so a good Shiraz it is (the Chardonnay was only a daytime/warm weather concession anyway... for any possible quiché eaters you SA blokes might be harbouring... ).

The entertainment/floorshow a' la' champignon sound's intriguing though...??

Lawson's Clare valley Shiraz '05

Duly noted and put on the (ever increasing) Ozi homecoming bucket list;

#41: "Knock the end off a bottle of Shiraz and tear a hole in a schnitzel in the company of PeeBee, Mitta Fong, Shutter of Gates and the other esteemed members of the Quorn Schnitzel society."
