We'll have to cut up the Quorn Mayor's schnitzel for him as he crashed his postie doing the Quorn mail round this morning and busted his collar bone. The man can ride the wheels of his CRF 450 but crashed at 40 kph on his mail route

Hey PBee, you still coming to Blinman in Sept? We'll be there Wed 8th Sept and leaving around 11th or 12th. Our house should be full, but plenty of firewood and ice there. Looks like I might be trailering the bikes up whilst others ride via Peterborough C/Park Tues night.

Any new KTM's making their way??

You sure it's round Bill.....not sure a lathe is what you need unless the butterfly sits exactly at 90deg to the bore centreline.
Build up the side with some liquid metal and file it down.....PITA I Know but better than forking out for another carb.
Lathe at work is crud.....it's an old maintenance unit.
Put up some pics....plenty of knowledgeable inmates on here.

I'm trying to get a ute involved as a support vehicle, for booze, food, bedding, esky, chainsaws etc, and might even take mine so I can drag the Tenere and 400 up.

A few others are making their own way and picking up whatever beds they can, pub etc.

A couple of drinks at the pub, a camp oven every now and then, damper and a firepit......oh, and some local bike riding...
Trev?
I've booked 2 weeks holidays around this

thinking about buying some Keihin FSR pumper carbs, they do a kit for the 950...

wouldn't think about liquid metal, if it falls off that would not be good....its round alright with chamfer on opposite sides to seat in bore at angle.....
