Well Kym I think it's time to get the new bike dirty.

I got a couple of dirt noobs that are keen to get their wheels dirty too! I'll see if they're free for the day.

So weather permitting, I'll make an appearance.

Seemed strange to feel the "cool" air this morning

Saturday Windy

17 / 31C60%, 1-5mmNilW 19km/h52%SW 34km/h61%

Saturday's looking like a cool low 30's with a strong wind to clear the dust, as we head south near Nairne, Strath, Milang & Finniss & return .......... perfect

Keen to check out the Murray at Clayton to see how much water is left after the write-up in the paper last week.

We're destined to avoid each other MB.

You won't believe this () but Bernie and I are both in the Fleurieu this weekend, with the bikes, but the bikes are booked into Victor Harbor Suzuki on Sat for services (valves NSU's etc) in prep for Blinman. We're leaving them there for a week and then picking them up the following weekend, so we can't make it.

Where are you intending on having morning tea/lunch?

A blast down to Mt Gambier next week along the beach

Hi, does anyone have a few days free at the start of next week for a ride along the beaches from the Coorong to Mt Gambier?

I have been planning this for a month but none of my mates are free... so I'm gonna do it by myself if it comes to it.

I have a DR650 '08 with standard tank for this ride, and the plan is to only pack a light swag, tools, minimal food, and water in a camel bak. Leaving the barossa on monday, through Murray Bridge and Tailem Bend and pickup last fuel at Salt Creek, ride out over to beach at 42 mile crossing and it is approx 80km down beach to Kingston. I don't know what to expect when exiting the beach at Kingston. From there I have checked google maps for the beaches all the way down to Carpenter Rocks ("D" on my picture). Don't know how to access in and out from the beach, but will make it up.

Anyway, the total ride will be 2 or 3 days, eating main meals at pubs and probably swagging it on the beach or at a caravan park if it has been a rough day. I need to be home by wednesday night...

If your interested drop me a message.... Chris
