Well thats a relief, I thought I was going to have to chicken out and say its too hot for me, but now thats it's canceled I don't have to.

......... just another day in the life of us "tough" adventure riders I'd say

I forgot about Trev's ride on the 22nd Feb.

Seeing we both got special mention in his heading, unless I have another "twin" I don't know about, it'll be only fair to turn up for HIS RIDE I suppose

I'm going for a 3 hr ride from 7am this Sunday 8th, (unfortunately that's all the time I can spare

)

If anyone is still interested, I'll be leaving the same Liberty Servo Magill at 7 am.

Hi Dave

Basically find the nearest dirt road we can ................... well actually it's less than 5kms away from Magill.

To quote ..... "As we depart 7am from the Liberty Servo top of Magill Rd,

we will leisurely cruise a smooth winding road over a summit and climb a steep, tight dirt track before engrossing ourselves with glorious, fantastic, smooth, undulating, scenic, often loose surfaced, sometimes tight & twisty "rally roads"

" .......... probably covered in tree branches after today.

Depending on time we may fit a loop back around Woodside as well, all in all we should be able to knock over 120+ kms.

Unfortunately the bakery may miss out though ....................... just remember to tell DRTrev when next you see him ............. it's all about riding dirt & havin' fun isn't it?

Was great fun, my first Adenture ride. Didnt like the sand nor did it like me. Didnt fall and hopefully didnt keep MB back too much.

Looking forward to the next ride...

FYI. Thinking of either Flinders Ranges or Kangaroo Is this year (September ish). Would be looking for some others to join.

For sand within one hour try Olsens road between Deep Creek /Tooperang roads or Frome road betwen the continuation of Deep creek road and Currency creek.

Deep creek road is the the next turn off after Tooperang Road on the Bull Creek road.

Not a lot but will give you a bit practice.
