Are you suggesting we add sauce to that or just salt and pepper??

Mate, always happy to help any friend of MB's. Re the Flinders, you're more than welcome. Blinman, in the magical Flinders Ranges will host about 40 adventure/trail/enduro riders from 22 May to 26 May for the Flinders Ranges Classic II.

There's all sorts of pub or camping accommodation available, just turn up if you want to.

We're also having a Barossa shiraz tasting session....starts each day at 4pm and finishes at stumps....bring your own.

Getting to know you night is Friday at the pub, Sat night at the pub is trophy night and Sunday night is a firepit and camp ovens behind the old police station.

Hope you make it.

cheers

All are welcome.

Maybe I should have suggested getting onto this forum on DBW http://www.dirtbikeworld.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=51334 and if you need a room at the pub just let us know and we can facilitate that for you, or camping nearby is up to yourselves.

Swan Reach Ride: Sunday 19th

In a slight break with tradition the Easter Bunny bought me a nice new Garmin GPS.

I am planning on taking it out this Sunday to see if I can still get lost. Nothing too adventurous, just an easy ride through the hills via Cambrai to Swan Reach for lunch and back.

Anybody who wants to is welcome to join me. Leaving from the Liberty Servo, corner Vine St, at the top of Magill road @ 8 am Sunday, 19th.

Ride at your own risk, own pace, etc.

Charlie.

From Cambrai slip round the back of the silos and follow the Marne valley road to Black Hill , then left to Swan Reach - it is a good run and takes the same time as the Road round by Sedan.

At least it does if the folks going by Sedan are on Royal Enfields.

Met a guy on a Gold Wing with his lady on the back last Sunday so it cant be to bad a road.

hey charlie i hope to be able to make it sunday providing i get a replacement number plate by friday - the thing busted off on good friday on a ride around tungkillo. what gps did ya get? i'm looking around at gps units myself. not sure if i should go the whole hog and buy the zumo (or how to convince the wife i should part with $850 for such extravagance), or cheap out and go for an etrex which look pretty good too. i'd go for the 60cx if it came with city nav for the price as they look the goods. bloody hell there's just too much choice, i'll probably end up getting nothing

I got the GPSMAP 60CSX and a RAM mount from Johnny Appleseed. It was only $20 more than the standard CX and I thought the built in compass might come in handy.

I have it loaded with a set of free topographical maps from Shonky Maps. They don't seem to have much detail in the city, but seem more than adequate out in the country.

I am running on batteries at the moment, still have to wire it into the bike.
