Sitting in Adelaide airport at the mo, waiting to head home to NSW. Spent the last four days tripping around the Barossa, by car unfortunately!
Anyway, did lots and lots of back roads,
Has anyone been thru Pine Hut Rd out near the old Jutland school site. Think we came onto it after passing Saunders Gorge?
There is the most stunning old rock wall I have ever seen, went foer about 5 ks, anyone know history? I Googled it, but didnt find anything.
BTW, SA is looking absolutely stunnning at the mo'

if thats the road that starts or comes out at Eden Valley depending on which way you are going, then yes I have and only last weekend too I will try find some pics to put up, I love that stone wall goes for miles, dont know about the history of it, but I'm quite sure it wasn't built to keep the Celts safe from the Romans :)

Yeah, that'd be the one. The funny thing is that where it has collapsed in tiny 1- 2 metre sections, they have fenced it!! Never mind the incredible effort that would have gone into building it, and they cant be arsed fixing 3 foot! I did find a Dry Wall of Australia organisation which has some interesting stuff

Here's a link to a ride report I did for another forum. Plenty of views of the aforementioned wall.

Unfortunately "The Couger" is suffering from bureaucracy overload & is unsure when he will be let loose.

So Mr & Mrs MB will be eating at the Avoca Thursday night.

Hope to see you'all there for a chin wag or two.

I just hope his table manners have improved

Let's just hope he doesn't fall asleep at the table..like some

If anyone's interested, a number of lads from here in Gawler did a trip to Finke last weekend, mostly on outback tracks. Bit of a 'Wild Hogs' adventure. Here's the link to the dirt bike world ride report...

Sorry Kym, we were both right and nothing is going to plan. I won't know if I am coming to Adelaide until Friday which does not help when your meeting on Thursday.

Trust you all enjoy and try getting food in your mouth this time Kym.... You will enjoy it a lot more.
