Will definitely get over there for one of yours though at some stage.
Unannounced I reckon. You'll never know when I might show up and crash your party.

Add me to the list please

Hi, I'm from Adelaide, joined the forum couple of months ago, but forget to tune in on a regular basis.

I have a BMW F650 GS (but strangely it has 2 cylinders and is about 800cc in capacity!) with knobblys on it and am happy to go on trips that involve dirt roads, tracks, but due to age and lack of skill, stay away from sand/mud etc. Hence my other vehicle, a 4WD, that I use to support riders who want to do long range trips, ie last year I helped support a 3,500 km trip for 3 bikes (DR650, KTM 525 & DZ450) which covered a double crossing of the Simpson (Warburton, NW to Mt. Dare, then back east to Birdsville via French line, thence south through the Flinders and back to Adelaide. Have also done a couple of Border track trips as well.

Anyone interested in both supported and unsupported rides, let me know.

Alan

Kev,

Thanks for the reply and the invite. Have to take a raincheck this time though as I am going on an AMTRA ride - Lamaroo/Scorpion Springs/bit of the border track (not for me, that bit) leaving Friday afternoon, returning Sunday.

But, please keep me in mind f0r future trips, especially through the winter/autumn months.

Alan
