Hey gasman, ask him if he has a nickname, "shonky Pete". I think I know of him , he sells furniture out of houses while the occupants are away was one of his scams, used to operate out of a "earthmoving depot" at Lonsdale ....

Not a 100% sure its the same guy, many years ago my mate bought a 4WD off a bloke from lonsdale area, was all very sus indeed only wanted cash for the car and we had to meet him in a back street late at night to pick up the car, was all registered even went through regency for interstate number plate change so all seemed ok, turns out a few years later, the cops came over to KI (looking for a helicopter apparently) and thought the chopper might have been one of ours from the marron farm, anyways the 4WD turned out to be stolen from the mines,

, but my mate got the car back in the end .
