1. What is the max distance with no fuel stations?
2. How about camping? Any secret places? Nice ocean view, swimming beaches appreciated. Swimming bitches not needed (missus is going with me).
3. Tyres: Michelin Anakee2, Anakee3, what else?
4. Two nights vs. three nights (3x900 km/day vs. 4x700 km/day)?
Wirulla is a nice town , free beer and a warm bed in the pub ....

We need 11 to get them @ $110.00 ea
PBee x 1
TJ x 1
Bernie x 1
Paul x 1
Kipo x 1
BarneyRubble x 1
Domonsura x 1
aussieotto x 1

That makes eight.

Are there any additions to this list. I might start making some overtures on thr other bulk buy thread to join up and have them all sent to me, then I can distribute them. At this stage, they will cost $110, plus GST $15, plus delivery $15 = $140.......
Doesn't seem to be any more takers for this. SHall I try and piggy back the other bulk buy???? I can pay for them, get them sent to me and then get them to you guys, maybe at the Classic????

Plan for a stop at Fowlers Bay caravan park and duck over the dunes to Scott's Beach

Eatin the donuts will keep you full for hours....
Eatin the titties will get you a slap in the face and probably a kick in the nuts as a side dish

I'm still in. As far as piggy back the other thread buy goes, up to you, whatever is easy for you. I can collect at the Classic but happy to pay into your account now (as you are soon to be a pensioner )

Rickaby trail ride 2 weekends ago. Belting down the beach just before we regrouped at a place called The Gap, 2 X 20ish year old German backpackers lying under a shade with G string bikinis. The support crew waiting for us said it was so funny seeing 60 bikes riding past and every helmet turned for a look. Funny how it was at 'The Gap'

I think the front wheel on my 800 is slightly out of round (oblong). Does anyone know a good wheel builder in Adelaide preferably north?

Or OZ at GC Motorcycle does a top job also. Get them to quote.

Hi Hekot,
I have had a very good run out of the Shinko 705s I put on my Transalp 3 years ago. I have ridden on dirt to Marree, Broken Hill and Pooncarie (2 up with luggage), and on bitumen to Melbourne and back, without a problem. They are no good in mud, but they hare a hard, long wearing compound. Again, I suggest speaking to Martin or Richard at GC Motorcycles. I know you know where they are.
Cheers
Tim

+1 for GC's. Tell Martin or Richard that we sent you 'cause you need to fix the bike for the Classic.

I'm still in and am happy to go via the path of least resistance. I'll settle up before the Classic
