Finding Lino

What a fun day!!

Was hot and long but nice people all round, so enjoyable.

Met with Andy H and some Gawler MCC guys at Willaston at 0515 and then to FMC....Fongie slept in and wasn't at the meeting point but a phone call and some hurried plan B arrangements and all sweet.

At FMC on time and after a briefing and the realisation that I could get to like the look of lycra, well on some people anyway.

Off we go and eventually phone calls start about getting us to leapfrog each other and take over turns and changes to the route. PBee tells me that I have to get to Munno Para and meet up with Lino (pronouced Leno) so Fongie and I bolt for there and can't see him so I ring him. I get asked what I'm doing by Fongie and I reply "Finding Lino".....very funny.

Fongie and I left the Barossa around 2.30 and headed back to Gawler so I could get him onto the Northern Expressway only to see push bikes still leaving Gawler - those guys still had a long way to go!!!!

Great day....out for dinner with friends from Qld and had a couple of reds....was asleep well before the head hit the pillow.....

Good day..

Just heard on the radio that a 54 year old motorcyclist from Robertstown hit a tree a died late yesterday afternoon. Anyone know if he/she was an inmate?

Mate, you've got it all wrong, he's indicating to the push bike riders that they should go to his left.......

That's Pete's bike Berty, we weren't sure how many Kms we were going to be doing......Gawler to FMC, 110 Kms from there to Tanunda and then back to Gawler........didn't want to run out. Pete had 26.5 on board and I had 32.... Call it insurance...

Will be there. If we've already done the PayPal thing for supporter packs, can we pick them up there, or does that complicate things? Is anyone putting this up on dirtbikeworld?

Supporters Pack

I reckon if you've made the donation, Shane will have a record and you can grab it then. You can put this up on dirtbike world if you like, the more the merrier!

Plastic mesh.

Anybody got any plastic mesh that farmers wrap round bales with ?

or know where I can get some.

Maybe you've seen some round bales for sale, produce store or side of road, in or around Adelaide.

Need some pronto, as I have a brown snake problem.

Know a few squids that attended here in Adelaide, then left when they worked it all out.

Of the petition circulated there were more Fred Flinstones signed on than Mickey Mouses. Mainly Harley riders and a big police presence with camera's.

Vince Focarelli couldn't attend ......... again.

Hopefully you've got him on the boat Nazza, either that or he's been floating around in Boston Bay for the last two or three days!!!!!

What's his plans from now on? Any idea?
