I reckon I'd be a starter for the ride too, cheers guys.

Did you want to plan it Rob, or we just take turns leading and follow the roads 'til we get somewhere beerish? Did you still want that work done on your bikes? I'm free Thursday onwards.

Still being new to the area; I wouldn't be any good at leading. Don't really know any dirt roads around the area and my Atlas isn't very detailed for the few that are 'innit.

North, South or East I'm happy to go anywhere. Sunday 8:30 meetup at a servo somewhere? Just need a place to go.

As for the work Richard, maybe early next week. I've moved and have a garage now.

New garage sounds excellent, Rob. Next week is fine all week, so far. PM me when you're free.

Re the destination, I'm fairly easy with where we go. Is it your turn to lead, Gateshutter or GoneAgain? Perhaps NE towards the Barossa/Mt Crawford area? Or haul arse north towards Crystal Brook then have a play in the hills? Be a long day but good weather for such a run. I'm easy. Always have been.

LOL I'm hopeless at leading I never know which way to go and cant remember where I'm supposed to be going, I kinda like hanging in the middle or the rear sucking up the dust and rocks. hopefully can make it Sunday, busy on Saturday preparing an area for concreting got mixer truck coming on the 24th.

PS anybody know where I could find a big white canvas for outside movie screen and cheap rear projector? I have an Idea

I am headed up towards Swan Reach tomorrow and Friday, looking for some nice dirt tracks, then to someplace called Palmer (towards Manumm) so come Sunday I will be all ridden out unfortunatley. Which I guess isn't really a bad thing

Love the location, Mr Shutter, piss funny.

Well, unless someone else comes up with a plan, I'll say meet at 8.30 a.m. at the McDonalds carpark at Modbury Plaza again (Cnr Nth East Rd and Reservior Rd) and we'll head somewhere from there, with someone leading. How's that for a cunning plan? I reckon head out similar to last time, but head North East towards Mt Crawford and Angaston? Unless anyone knows of any events/places of interest to take in?

Again, this will be a newby friendly ride and noobs/lurkers are very welcome to join in, unless you crash, then we'll all "deny, deny, deny" and disappear as soon as the Police turn up, if not beforehand.

Pissed Sunday Ride

BUGGA BUGGA BUGGA, gotta lead a bitumen ride Sunday, last 1 for the year, someone gotta organize a ride sometime in the next 3 weeks before ride calendar starts again, hangin out to go for a ride in the dirt with others. Had a not bad dirt ride last Sunday after the Toy Run, out through Harrogate, towards Tungkillo to Birdwood, on through Cromer to Williamstown and behind Para Wirra through Humbug Scrub and on home. Not a bad mix of dirt and some bitumen to join the good bits

Twisted I know most of the dirt roads up that way, Snake gully out to Mt Pleasant..Trial hill..Angaston & back via Williamstown..Loop around 120 to 150 kms. Might join you Sunday although the wife said it must be time for her to come out so still in two minds.
