Dual Sport?

Hope I don't get flamed for this but has anyone successfully converted a 450 to a dual sportable bike? Besides a Safaris tank? With the oil change at 10 hours I'm wondering if anyone found a way to expand capacity like KTM did with the HT oil cooler that added 800 cc's of oil.

Found what appears to be a decent on locally and wondered if it could do a multi day off road trip while packing light.

Thoughts?

Thank you

But would not be my choice personally ... but then I have a Husky TE610 which is the best mid sized dually IMHO.

If I could afford to buy it I would, EVEN if I had to sell Katy M.

Cool2 Tail rack

I put on a tail rack from Holan. I know these 450s don't like to take much weight on the subframe. This rack should provide a little more support for a fuel container I sometimes take along for RallyMoto events.

G450X Rallye Sticker Sets

OK, so if you do a Google search for G450X under images, you get all sorts of awesome Sticker options for the shrouds, side panels and front and rear fenders. But, where do you actually "buy" these sets? i just brought home a new to me G450X with 350 s-miles on stand I am in need of some eye candy for it in the way of "cool factor".

Let me know if any of you have a line on some of these Sticker Sets….

JP

Today i did a testride on this new to me 2010 g450x

I consider it quite noisy. a bit squeky. the bike is equiped with an aluminimum bashplate, and of course that doesn't help but all and all:
I made a youtube account to let you guys hear the noise. Is this the typical torque limiter giving in sound?
