Let's see your sunsets/sunrises. - Page 2

Along Sand Creek Road, near Laramie, Wyoming. The prominent peak on the left is Jelm Mountain, the long ridge on the right is Sheep Mountain. My favorite place to watch sunsets is from my front pasture, from the back of a horse. I try to time my training rides in late summer so that we're finished with the exercise, and walking around pleasantly, "cooling down" the horse as the sun sets. The view from my front yard is similar to these pics, but a bit farther away, so the taller Snowy Range Mountains behind these are visible too. Late summer sunsets are much more spectacular, with all the dust in the air. These photos were in the early spring.
