I picked up a DR350 with 8,000 miles on it for $1900 two or three years ago. They've got to be out there. A KLR250 would also do the job.

What mpg can you get on a stock dr350? Are most of the parts the same as tjhe DR200? Is the DR650 actually a bigger bike or just a bigger engine?

1988 sp 200
Hey Everyone!
I've lurked around AdvRider a few times before! I just aquired my first motorcycle I have ever owned and am very excited to get out and explore in it. Normally I explore in my Wrangler but this is going to be a great addition to my fleet of fun vehicles! I picked up this 1988 Suzuki SP 200 which I'm told is practically a DR 200 (not sure what the key differences are) It is a street legal bike that doesn't need anything. Owned by a older gentlemen, I was able to pick this bike up with 8100 miles on it for $1,000. I think I got a good deal! I can't wait to get out and explore on it! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

There's nothing in common between any of those three bikes. I get about 45 mpg on my DR350, but it's highly modified and is actually 435 cc. I get 50-52 mpg with the DR650.

[QUOTE=poppawheelie;17980345]
I'm in Central PA...freezing my noogies off. SURRRRE...we have a mild winter up to when winter is about to be ending and then yeah, winter comes on full blast. Sons-a-b@@!!@#$!~'s lol!! I can't complain too much. I've had the bike out a few times this winter whereas during a normal winter I wouldn't have been able to get it out at all due to the garage door being blocked by snow. Can't wait to move out of this god-forsaken area and to somewhere more hospitable!!

Move to my area of PA ... we don't get snow anymore. BUt then again, we have no place to ride either. That's why mine is going to pull street duty, if I ever get it on the road.

Tkc 80
Ok the TKC80 that are on the back of Lady Bugs DR200 is 3.50x18 . On continentals sizing chart the tire is indicated that it is being phased out but i've checked on motorcycle-superstore and cyclegear and it is both in stock for around $122. It's a bit pricey when you compare it to the shinko 244 for $55 I just ordered.

Looking for stock mirrors. Anybody have a good set for sale ? Or should I just buy the Emgo replacement mirrors on eBay. I can get them to my door for under 30 bucks.
