Then battery + starter are okay. Don't really know what to look at next...take out the plug and make sure you have a big fat spark, and if so, it's something with the carb maybe.

If anyone wants to know why you should not be using a Lithium battery on a motorcycle. PM me with an email address, I will send you a technical article written by the head electrical guy at BMW.
If you want to see a picture of what happens when you charge a ballistic too much, I can send you a picture. There are reasons why the motorcycle manufacturers have not adopted this technology. |

Lemme guess - fire danger? Considering you have a lithium battery in your cell phone that is just as likely to catch on fire I'm not too terribly worried. Besides, that's what insurance is for. I use lithium batteries all the time with my r/c planes and while I'm always cautious, I still use them and have yet to see a meltdown. I don't plan on leaving the ballistic hooked up to the tender as I did with the lead acid - plus there's no need since it will maintain a charge for a year or so.

Just curious, normally the weight helps dampen the vibrations. Have you noticed more 'buzziness' since adding the new bars?

I would post, but I don't have a link. Just a .pdf file of the article. I know how to post a pic, but not a .pdf.
Sent 2 emails out from work today. Off for vacation next 3 days. Catch up with the other emails on Monday. |

Second fill-up
132 miles 2.1 gallons... so I guess it doesn't matter if I romp on it or not
maybe I can tweak it a little leaner? At least it runs well, wheelies a lot easier now

If I wasn't in a cold climate, I would leave the jets stock. It's the driveability when half warmed up that I was going for. The jets that I have in there are the early Kientech settings...I think he's changed them somewhat.

I have someone coming to check out the bike tomorrow, hopefully getting a couple hundred more than what I paid for. I did find a 99 DR350 with 6K miles on it though. Any input on the 350s? I just need something bigger and hopefully something that can cruise at 70 mph. Havent done much research on them yet.
