I thought about that!...but didn't wanna listen to the fucking lawn mower after riding in a truck for 36 hours....

Sup everyone, I'm Craig and I just picked up a DR350. Didn't see an intro thread so i figured I would drop a line here.

Works in progress on cleaning up the bodywork and little odds and ends. Also looking for some parts as well....

I am having a hard time finding the SE wiring diagram for my 1998. Anyone have a .pdf or similar file?

I spent week before last in Death Valley. We went 15 miles on washboard without stopping. Bike ran well. After a stop, I hit the start button and ...nothing. We had to tow it to get it started. After that no problem except the start button would not start it. I have lights and power to everything. I took the push button apart and checked continuity and it is fine. Is there a fuse somewhere? Suggestions on where to check circuits next?

Yes i have them on my DR450 [was a 350] they are excellent ! Have gone down many times as is my habit and they haven't moved a bit ! I used to be continually straightening handguards after every fall but these seem to put up with all kinds a abuse .

I also have them on my 450 Sherco

Take care during shearing season! You need to be in tip top condition for riding season.

p.s. Geek might be calling you soon to ask about how the wiring for the brake switch and the running brake light run together. It turns out, someone put a brake switch on the bike, but never finished the wiring.

Thanks. I looked on that site but could not find a diagram, just specs. However, I finally remembered that Distech, a fellow inmate, had sent me a .pdf of the shop manual last year. When I found it in my mess of a filing system, it contained wiring diagrams for several years including for an 1994 SER model (page 316). I think that is the best I can get so far. If you know of a better version please let me know.

Shearboy and Tweetie, it looks like part of the handguards mount up where the turn signals are? is that correct? I have a 96 se and Im not sure how they would mount up, that's why I was hoping to see a pic of what they look like, any help or a pic would be awesome!

My bike is a dirt model and doesn't have turn signals.

But, I imagine it's gotta be workable some way.
