I finally got my 350 running. Still needs finishing touches (blinkers, acerbis tank, heated grips, aluminum bars, handguards etc) but its come a long way.

Picasa doesn't allow remote hosting I think, but with a normal photo hosting site all you need to do is either copy the image tagged URL from there to here, of if its not provided put the following around the URL. I use www.postwhore.biz and www.photobucket.com

[*img]http://www.yoururl.com[/img*] only without the *, I just stuck that in so you'd see the code rather than a red x:)

DR350 taillight

Is there any "bolt on" taillights that work for the 350?
I put one from a DR250 on my DR650, plug and play, bolted right up.
But,
It doesn't appear that it'd work on the 350.

FWIW, 97 DR350SE.

Thanks

The DR250 and DR350 have the exact same tail light (but it may be different from the DRZ250). There are probably quite a few that could be mounted, but I have no issue with the stocker at all. I'm told that a DRZ400S/SM tail light is also identicle, but with a clear botom which is handy if you wanna move the tag up to the fender:)

DR 350 turn signals

I am looking to replace the HUGE front turn signals on my 99 DR350SE; can anyone make recommendations on smaller more flexible ones that would fit?

THANKS

DR250 DR350 Information Needed

I just got a 1990 Dr350S and a Dr250SE from a friend that I did work for. I have most of the parts needed to make one bike. Just for the heck of it I am installing the everything from the 1994 250SE in the 350 frame. Seems easy enough. I already got the battery box mount 90% done.

What I want to know it what can I do to make the bike really standout. I already shaved the mounts off the frame for the rear footpegs. I heard alot about air box mods. I wish I knew what everyone is talking about.

I also want aluminum and plastic brushguards but dont know what kind to get. I wish I had pics of how each brand looks on DR's.

Hopefully someone here can help. Thanks

I have 90/90-21 (front) & 120/80-18 (rear) on my '99 SE. That's for both on-road (Dunlop 601) and off-road (Pirelli MT-21) sets of tires.

If all goes well on Sunday I'll be picking up a 96 DR350SE. The bike is in perfect condition with 4600 miles on it. I test drove it last night and it rides great.

Can't wait to start dual sporting :)

90/90/21 MT21 front and a 110/100/18 teraflex rear

--

Started as a stock 1993 "S" with 2500 street miles....

added a 3.5 gallon tank

Tall Protaper bars and one inch risers

New grips and bark busters...I'm sure I'll test them out shortly. :o

Type 1 Teraflex. It has 22 lbs of air in it in the picture, but it will get aired down tomorrow. I got new tubes and want to leak test them first.

Front MT21. I'm not sure if I'm going to like the MT21, I might switch to something more aggressive.

Correctly jetted Mikuni Pumper Carb and I chopped the air box up a bit.

I still have to add my new pegs and shifter and I'm also at a loss of what to do for graphics.

Anyway, its' at least ready to ride. Oh, and it now starts on the first kick. Guh, I hated kicking that thing over when it was hot.
