I had a dr350 early 1990's. I found a box in the attic with a brake light switch and spring and a small honda bracket for mounting it. If anybody wants it for free let me know with a PM.

I'm interested in getting a second set of rims for my 98 350se. It'd be nice to have a dedicated street and dirt set so if anyone has a rear rim with cush drive or a front rim, send me a PM.

You only have to ride it one way.

Looks like a good one.

No cush drive on my 98se. May want to have a look at yours as well.

Getting a cush drive from an earlier model is a common mod for street use on the 98-99 models.

I know mine doesn't have a cush drive. That's why I'm looking for one.

What's the conventional wisdom for these bikes on cush being good or must-have in the long term if it gets 50-50 miles street to off-pavement use? I've been under the impression that the highway miles my bike gets on its way to dirt/gravel does not warrant cush. I.e., I'm not talking stop-and-go commuter or city riding. Eh?

If you're using 50/50 tires you're fine. Theres 'cush' in the knobs. If youre running a full street tire, theres no give. All the forces of the acceleration would be on your tranny. Plus it gives a nice feel to engine accel and breaking. My ol KLR250 had a cush drive, I dont really miss it too much on my DR.

Thanks. Forgot about the knobs, which I do run.

Very clean bike in fact it's cleaner than mine on page 421. What kind of cleaning supplies to you use to clean the rims, plastic, and the outer end of the engine. Also, is that a stock seat? What camera did you use to take this picture?

Hi ! I'm new to the whole motorcycle thing and need help!

Hi, I just got a 1998 DR 350 with 2300 miles on it, The only other bike I have owned was a DR 650 and I never did anything to it but ride it. To start I need to find some things to complete my bike so I guess I want to know if anyone has a good source for parts, (i.e. Tail light, chainguard, etc.). Also, I am a bigger guy and was wondering what part of the suspension I should adjust so it doesn't sag so much when I sit on it. And of course if anyone has any other helpful hints let me know

Welcome Gary nice looking bike !

Most of us here treat Jesse at http://www.kientech.com/index.htm as the DR god , wonderful guy to talk to and he will put you on the right path for suspension and parts . Very easy guy to talk to .
