This was the first race.

I'm at the top.

Ok here is the final.

I'm at the top. You can barely see me come into the finish.

But if you look at the clock it shows about a 19 second barrel. With a 150 front end run out. Usually we have a 60 foot run out. So both of us ran around a sub 17 barrel on pretty sticky stuff. Lots of roll overs last night.

Yes, I'm stepping up to 600hp this year. I have been abit under that for awhile.

The promoter of the event after seeing us asked us to be an ELEMENT of the show.
They want to pay us to run. For some all of us that work for a living we will have to see how that goes. But it is an exciting offer.
Expect to see what we do on some of these speed channels soon.

I almost went to the show this year for the first time. Now I know that I need to go as I know someone in it.

Nothing like 600hp in a 1000 lb or chassis.

Damn - this really makes me miss my LandRover even more. Looked into importing it when I moved, but cost was prohibitive (2005 model Defender 110 hardtop, TD5)

Hopefully Landrover will get their heads out of their collective asses and FINALLY release a US defender lineup, without neutering the model at least.
(and please, please, bring the Diesel over!)

OK, so I don't have a jeep, but I do have a new Tacoma. I took a trip to Moab with it in the spring of 2006 with some friends with jeeps. It was 4 months old at that time

A cycling friend of mine went also, and we did some mountian biking also. I can't wait to go back there!!

I don't think I've shared this with you before. This is a tough obstacle at Walker Valley here in Washington.
Two jeeps had made it over this and if you look Gregs left rear tire blocked his front over. Had he stayed on the gas he might have made it. But It sucked for Greg and ended the day for the club.
