How the hell did I miss a Jeep thread?

Yes, this is a legal trail in Idaho

Got Flex?

Pulling my buddy out. The snow had been up to the hood that day!

Finish off with a nice poser shot!

2HE's Jeep CJ5

Here's a picture of my CJ5. It's just a daily driver. My only four wheel transportation. I've had it for many years. Only 338,000 miles. Glass body with lots of stainless steel fabrication work. Even the roll cage is SS. More pictures on my smugmug at: twinheadlighternie.smugmug.com 2HE

I had a 94 wrangler, many years of fun with it, but I sold it before we got a digital camera.
See, here in Michigan, you get sand, or mud. Mud can be found in abundance on private property. Sand is at the dunes. Dunes are fun for about an hour, once a year. Any other things you find to wheel on are most likely either illegal, or belong to you. It's useful in the winter, for a few days when you can drive around in the snow before plows get out.
The rest of the year you wish you lived somewhere else.
So I sold the Jeep to someone who lived somewhere else.

The one vehicle I wish I had never sold. I felt a bit pressured by my wife to ditch it.
She will probably deny it, but that's how I felt.
I could give up just about every vehicle ever, but I will always want a jeep.

So many thousands upon thousands of dollars, and uncountable hours of fabricating and wheeling, sold the thing for $1500. About a tenth of what I paid for it when it was new.

It's probably been parted out by now.

Just a jeep, right?
