Football is serious in Dixie...

...enjoy Bubba's story.

..."PINSON, Ala. -- A Pinson man was charged with attempted murder for holding a gun to his son's head and pulling the trigger in the midst of a tantrum after Alabama's double overtime loss to Arkansas Saturday."

Wasn't that long ago

that if Bear Bryant had run for Gov of AL, he would have probably gotten 95% of the vote.:):

Which would have been no worse than George Wallace or Lester Maddox getting majority votes when they ran. The jury's still out on Ahnold in Cal.

Tom Osborne got 71%

from SI: 71 Percentage of the vote won by former Nebraska coach Tom Osborne in Nebraska's Third congressional district 2000 Republican primary.

Something is telling me Paterno wouldn't do this well, at least not as well at this point in the game...

If anyone should run this year for anything it should be the guy from Northern Illinois... Joe Novak?
