If you really want GS mirrors I will sell you mine because after living with the Double take mirrors I want them on all my bikes now. Huge improvement....

Dunno how he did it but I bought a onboard compressor from a goldwing once, that was big and clunky. But it did at least have a 10ft quick disconnect air hose.

I ditched the setup in favor of a portable model, was smaller, lighter and I could move it. I was thinking of taking the guts of a slime 4003 power sports pump and mounting that to a bike (since that model has all modular connections and no wires or hoses sticking out of it).

Good enough for 23 days on the road, could have kept going indefinitely like this though if the money held out longer.



Wolfman Enduro saddle bags, duffel, and tank bag. Had to add a Sea to Summit event compression sack for clothes, size large, and a Carver surf rack for board rentals along the way. Had room for 2 spare tubes, spare fuel, a DSLR, 4+ days of clothes, heated liner+gloves, camping gear, cook kit, etc in other words all the necessities. I even had a chair! (Byer stool)

This is how I packed for the previous 3 weeker...


Dirtbagz scouts, wolfman enduro duffel and tank bag, big ass REI self inflating mat...

Thanks for the heads up on the the mirrors. That set up would work perfect. When on trips can put them on, and easy off when not.

Its a slime compressor. I cut the top half of the houseing off and left it inside the lower portion. I did that to keep it from melting my fairings and there are little rubber motor mounts inside. I also used ducting insulation to keep the heat off the plastics and to keep the noise down. I mounted it inside my left front fairing.

I need to get some better heat resistant tubing because it did melt while inflating 2 tires back to back. Other than that its great!
