Loaded. Dry Duffel contains tent, sleeping pad and sleeping bag. Side cases each have an 8L dry bag for clothes. Other items included stove, mess kit, food, tools, rain gear, and folding stool. Tank bag contains cameras, chargers, personal meds and extra visor. Map pocket on tank bag has SPOT tracker.

Unpacked at camp. Now that I've returned, I'll be sorting through everything and deciding what not take on my road trip at the end of the month. I'd like to try my soft bags next run...

Should take one of those pharmacist desinfection-alcohol-bottles at 90°:

-great for desinfection (yes yes, believe me its true :o)
-can mix it in your coffee to keep you warm
-its pure enough to get you to the next station if fuel gets rare :o)
-can light a bonfire with it
-can keep sexual predators away

cheers!

Good stuff that ..

.. works perfectly in can/penny stoves and the Trangia stove as well .. not to mention comes in handy for medical emergencies too ..

.. packs up small and light ..

.. optional baby-butt not included ..

.. the basic setup without any whistles and bells ..

Stainless Trangia Stove with a Stainless Cup .. had to import the stainless Trangia to the states from a great guy down in Australia .. the Storm Sleeve came from an inmate here (look in Vendors) .. the Agri-tube came from Agri Supply (look them up in the internet, cheapest place to buy them, listed as "Operator's Manual Canister") .. scrounged up the Primus bottle on sale from somewhere ..

.. don't have any pics of the Penny Stoves I have made over the years .. but great fun to make and use ..

.. note-worthy .. you can also use "Heet" in these things too ..

There are easier ways to get that fuel out, BTW.

Have you tried Ströh? It's like rum and raisins, but 80 per cent proof.
