Her first ride with her big cousin who she adores...another riding influence works in my favour!

Think she will be ready for CRF 70 next year....

Three thumbs up!

I think that photo from Freakhead has me inspired!

I have been considering a l'il 50 or 70 for my daughter as she really enjoys the hack...a "to do" for my redeployment to be sure! What a great photo - tremendous memories there no doubt.

My daughter is seven and my son is nine, so I'm probably looking for something similarly sized. I'd appreciate knowing what kind of jacket, thanks!

I looked for the make, couldn't find it. I want to say it is Coretech?

She is nine, it is a Medium. She may have another year on it. The padding is not up to the level of my BMW R2 or the Olympia AST, but then she is alot smaller...

I bought it here used, due to the cost of a new kids jacket that she would only wear for a couple of years.

More then likely this will be going on the market next summer, if you are still in the market I'll help you out, cheap. It is a bit rough (she is the second kid to wear it) meaning that there are a few areas that the stiching has pulled out but nothing that takes away from the protectiveness of the jacket. Wife is fixing up those seams.

It is marked as "waterproof" but I hit it with a Coleman waterproofing spray. It also came with a thermal liner that when coupled with a sweatshirt kept her warm in March here in Maryland.

This weekend we go on our first overnight camping trip together. She doesn't know it yet. She started school today in a new school and I figured that with all the anxiety and nerves of the first week, this may just be what the doctor ordered.

Does anyone know if the Kids Gear thread is still alive? I may be putting this up there.

I'm also looking for gloves for her. And maybe some pants.

I don't know if you can get them to ship to the US, but this brand of riders Clothing is what I use for my kid ( age 10 now)

Quality is Top and form and fitting is great for a growing Kid.
