What a stunning thread this is! I took my 2 year old daughter up and down the drive way yesterday for the first time and I'm kicking my arse for not taking pics!!! If nothing else, I've learned we dads have to cherish these moments.

Right! Back to manly conversation, er hum, cough cough!
So how's that new KTM 1190......er cough. :)

Seems like my only child went from day care to newly minted high school grad in about 2 seconds. So yes... we do. Take all the pics you can guys.

Wish I had taken a whole bunch more.

+1 here. Daughter Snow is now a teenager (w/some 13 yo angst) and it feels like yesterday when we brought her home - a sunny winter day!

This is the year she gets checked out on the XT225.

My daughter, Evelyn, having a ride with me.
One of her first words was "bike". :) Makes me so proud but
drives her mom nuts. hehehe.

Though I really enjoy riding with my daughters, there's more to this dad and daughter thing then teaching them about riding...
It's also about sharing experience..

And today we shared the experience of lawn mowing...next week it's all hers

My 13yr old's first MC ride other than a short burn down to the store. (no MC ownership for the last 12yrs) When we got up it was raining and I told her, "Sweetie, maybe we should put this off for another weekend since you don't have rain gear". I got a look somewhere between "What's your problem Dad?" and "That's not happening!". At one point during the ride when it started raining again I thought I heard her complaining....I leaned back, opened my visor and....she was singing...(in the rain)! One of the best days/rides of my life! We're set for a repeat ride this weekend!

The highlight of my daughter's week - motorcycle ride to school. She's 8 yo and loves the bike.

Just having fun:
